The mission at Unity is to be a spirit-centered community that lives love and uplifts lives by affirming the fullness of the divine in everyone and everything. Yet money is often left out of this affirmation. How you view money shapes this disconnect. When giving and receiving are seen as transactional, the exchange becomes colored by guilt, duty, or false expectation. Yet when you approach giving and receiving as relational, the exchange is motivated by love, trust, and shared purpose.
In this series on Abundance, you are invited to see giving with fresh eyes by embracing it as a spiritual practice. Spiritual giving is about connection—connection to the complete and abundant love within yourself and others. As you give, you receive what you already possess. In this way, giving becomes an expression of who you truly are, a free and loving soul.
