This Sunday at Unity is a continuation of Reverend James Kress’s heartfelt exploration of the Five Unity Principles. This week’s focus is on Principle 3. This principle states that “As a human being, you create your experience through the activity of your thinking. Everything in the manifest realm has its beginning in thought.”

Putting this principle into practice is an invitation to pause and consider the immense creative power of your mind. Your thoughts shape your perceptions, influence your choices, and ripple outward into the world you share with others. What you dwell on—whether fear or faith, resentment or compassion—becomes the lens through which you experience life.

It also contributes to the collective consciousness. So, ask yourself, “How might your inner dialogue contribute to healing, connection, or division?” In other words, in what ways is your thinking influencing not only your life, but the lives of others.

In a world often driven by the love of power, Principle 3 gently nudges you toward a higher path—the power of love. Love-centered thinking opens doors to empathy, forgiveness, and transformation. It reminds you that you are a co-creator of a reality rooted in spiritual truth, not just personal preference.

Join Reverend James Kress this Sunday for a message about the creative power of thought, especially when it is rooted in love.

No matter where you are on your spiritual journey—whether you’re just beginning to explore or have walked this path for years—you are welcome, you are valued, and you belong.

Our music ensemble features Kelly Rae Burke on vocals. She will be accompanied by LeeAnn Aerlynn-Moore on piano, and R. Burke on drums. Julie Croteau will be our song leader.
