Holograms of the Brain and the Soul

In a scene featuring one of the most famous examples of a hologram, Princess Leia pleads, "Help me Obi-wan Kenobi. You're my only hope." You know that the image broadcast by the droid R2D2 is a hologram because you can see it in three dimensions. Therefore, if you chose to you could walk around a hologram. A hologram is a 3D image made of light and sound that appears as a solid object. Holography, the process of producing a hologram, uses laser light to record and reconstruct the electromagnetic field of an object.

Noted physicists are now postulating that the world we experience could be no more than an immense and complex series of holograms. This idea of equating what we experience as holograms is a notion of reality that challenges what we think of as truth. However, this possibility lends credence to the idea that whatever God is, it extends beyond space and time. Moreover, regardless of whether you think of God as a Super Being or a Divine Principle, you create your own holograms of God, the soul, and spirit, within the recesses of your own brain.

Join Reverend Dennis Ashley this Sunday for part one of a lesson that looks at the concept of Holograms of the Brain and the Soul.
