As someone who attends Unity you are among the people who are seeking a spiritual home that offers you a place that challenges the mind, touches the heart, speaks to the soul, and promotes an environment where you can become self-realized. A place that fosters further growth on your spiritual path and a holistic way of living in an often divisive and narcissistic culture.
That is what Unity offers through the thought-provoking messages, inspirational music, and unique interactions offered here. Yet, self-actualization is more than an intellectual exercise. What you strive for is something deeper, what Buddhists call a Sangha. Traditionally, a Sangha consisted of monks, nuns, and laypeople who live in community to follow the Dharma, the Buddha’s teachings. A more modern definition for Sangha is a spiritual community working together through compassion and shared understanding to lift everyone. That is what we are creating here at Unity Center of Spiritual Growth.
Join Reverend Dennis Ashley this Sunday for a lesson about the vision of our spiritual community and what we are striving to create.
You can join us in person or watch the service on our live stream feed.
