George Conrad has called North Idaho home for the past forty years. He relocated here as a graduate student to attend Gonzaga University. He recently retired from his career as a Social Security Disability attorney.
In the early 2000s, George and his wife Viella (Vi), attended Unity. George served as a dedicated member of the Board of Trustees and often played the piano during Sunday services. On occasion, he also stepped in to deliver the Sunday lesson. He also cherished the time spent assisting the Uniteen and Y.O.U. youth programs.
Currently, George and Vi participate in an online church, the Louisville Center for Spiritual Living, founded and led by a lifelong friend who has been a source of inspiration. Over the past four years, their daily routine includes studying A Course In Miracles and meditating with several Buddhist Sanghas dedicated to Thich Nhat Hanh.
These spiritual practices, along with their involvement in Codependents Anonymous are helping to heal deep-seated wounds and reduce the reactivity that once made living from a place of Oneness seem unattainable.
Join George Conrad this Sunday for a lesson on what it means to truly practice the belief that We ARE One, rather than just verbally expressing it and then acting otherwise.
You can join us in person or online this Sunday at 10 AM.
Our ensemble features the Unity Choir Singers with Choir Director Julie Croteau. They will be accompanied by George Conrad, LeeAnn Aerlyn-Moore, Pamela van Kirk, and Dagan Williamson.
