Judith Pinkerton's passion for music therapy began when her violin music substituted for medication post-surgery in Alaska. She later saved her father's life through music and developed the Music4Life® wellness system. As the first accredited music therapist in the USA, she's treated over 11,000 patients in addiction treatment centers. In 2018, Judith was the first musician honored by ACM Lifting Lives®. ACM Lifting Lives® is the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music. It is dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. Each year, this organization provides grants to music therapy and music education programs. Judith’s passion for music and her spiritual journey through metaphysical practices aligns perfectly with her experience at Unity Center of Spiritual Growth.
Judith is excited to share her story, and describe how her prescriptive music approach called Music4Life, and her prayer practice based on the Science of Mind can be used to deepen your Spiritual connection with God.
Join Judith this Sunday for a lesson about using music and prayer as prescriptive approaches to deepen the Spirit.
Our ensemble features Gwen and Paul Gathercoal.
