The White Stone Ceremony is a spiritual practice that embodies new beginnings. It is inspired by a passage in Revelation 2:17. The passage inspiring the White Stone Ceremony says, "whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says… I will give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it." In biblical times, released prisoners received a white stone. The Romans issued these stones to serve as proof that the person possessing the stone earned their freedom and rebirth into society. Inscribed on the stone was a new name to take into this new life.

The purpose of Unity's annual White Stone Ceremony is to ask your Higher Self to reveal a word or phrase that will guide you in the coming year. This “new name” becomes a cornerstone for building a stronger spiritual foundation upon which you can direct your life. This ceremony is a time for reflecting and asking yourself "What are my values and what word or words express what I wish to manifest in the coming year"?

Join Asst. Minister Amber Boren for the White Stone Ceremony to receive the “new name” that will help to guide you in 2025.

You can join us in person or online this Sunday at 10 AM.

Our ensemble features vocals by Julie Powell. She will be accompanied by LeeAnn Aerlyn-Moore.
