When Jesus found the Pharisees and Sadducees mired deeply in judgment he told them, “Judge not that ye be not judged.” A similar message is found in the Islamic Faith where it tells you that you should not judge one another. However, this teaching goes on to say something very challenging: that the judgment of others not only tarnishes the soul but is also a sign of a lack of intellect. Therefore, one of the biggest steps you need to take is to move away from judgment and replace it with more sincere curiosity about others and an appreciation of their point of view.
