Your spiritual journey is filled with mysteries and discoveries that shape your dreams and hopes. When you pay attention, those mysteries lead you to greater depths. The White Stone Ceremony is a symbolic representation of this spiritual journey. The ceremony is inspired by a passage in Revelation 2:17 that reads: "To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the person who receives it."

In other words, you who are curious about your relationship with the Spirit of God are victorious simply by being in the search for the Spirit of God within. And when you become serious about taking your consciousness to new levels of awareness, that is when you receive the white stone. In ancient Hebrew, Greek, and Roman times, a white stone was given as a reward to certain people. And that white stone--called a tessera--allowed the recipient to be treated like a rock star for a year. It was also given to Roman prisoners when they were released from jail as a means of beginning a new life with a new name.

Join Reverend Dennis Ashley this Sunday for a special ceremony that will give you focus and direction for 2024.

Our music ensemble features vocals by Julie Croteau. She will be accompanied by LeeAnn Aerlyn-Moore, Jim Turner, and Dagan Williamson.
