This Sunday’s hike location is Q’emiln Park in Post Falls. Elle Emm (Jim’s friend) will lead the 4.5-mile loop hike. The approximate hike duration is 2.5 hours. Plan to leave the Center at 11:30 AM so we can carpool to the trailhead. Otherwise, plan to meet up at the trailhead at noon.
This hiking area runs along the Spokane River through the woods and large rock formations. Bring poles, snacks, water, and raincoats (chance of rain forecasted).
Directions: Take I-90, turn on to Spokane St. going toward Spokane River/mts. Enter the trail head parking lot off of W. Riverview Dr. which is approximately one mile south from the bridge. This parking lot isn’t the main entrance so continue up the hill. Spokane St. veers to the right at the top of the hill and becomes W. Riverview Dr. Parking lot is on the right.
